Job summary

Vivo Infusion in Burleson, TX is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our infusion center team. You will welcome patients, assist clinicians, and support front-desk duties while delivering compassionate care in accordance with guidelines.

The role requires prior administrative experience, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Hours are Thursday and Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm with potential for additional shifts at nearby clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CCMA or RMA certification is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required prior to start date.
• 1 year of clinical experience is required.
• 1 year of administrative or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide front-end support including scheduling and payments.
• Room patients and update charts; communicate data to providers and nurses.
• Assist providers in exam rooms and collect lab specimens as directed.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; ensure infection control and HIPAA compliance.
