Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our Southlake, TX infusion center. You will welcome patients, support clinicians, and help ensure safe, compassionate care in accordance with guidelines and regulations.

The role requires prior administrative experience, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with both clinical and front-end duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CCMA or RMA preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required before start date.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical environment required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
• Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update charts.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses.
• Provide administrative support: greet patients, scheduling, phone management, payments.
• Oversee efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist providers as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit ordered lab specimens as directed.
• Assist with prior authorizations and document patient information.
• Triage patient calls and document messages.
