Sutter Health is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant for PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation ALD. You will support clinicians, manage patient flow, and perform back-office tasks to aid in delivering high-quality care.

Requirements include HS Diploma or GED, MA program completion with diploma within 90 days, and BLS certification. Typical shift is Day/Evening, 24 hours per week, with one weekend monthly commitment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program; diploma within 90 days.
• Externship of 160 hours completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams.
• Assist in patient flow and delivery of the care plan under clinician supervision.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for exams; assist with injections.
• Explain information clearly to diverse audiences and manage schedule-based tasks.
