Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program; diploma within 90 days.
• Completion of MA externship (160 hours) verified on MA school site.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams.
• Performs back office and patient-related tasks to support delivery of care.
• Assists with patient education and interaction to gain cooperation.
• Documents in EHR and uses Office applications as needed.
