Job summary

Responsibilities

Perform, record and review QC and take corrective actions when data are outside limits.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; document performance issues and action taken.
Verify specimen labeling, integrity, and suitability before testing.
Perform low, medium, and high complexity testing per protocols and regulatory requirements.
Report results accurately and promptly; communicate critical results per protocol.
Prioritize workload to maintain efficiency and assist where needed.
Perform phlebotomy as needed per lab policies.
Monitor supply inventory and ensure adequate stock.
Supervise and review work of laboratory assistants when applicable.
Troubleshoot analyzers and coordinate with support services.
