Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse at St. Rita’s Medical Center to deliver high-quality patient care on a busy unit. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and participate in developing care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

The role requires an RN license with at least 1 year of experience (acute care preferred). BLS is preferred at hire; ACLS is acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience (required).
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per Mercy Health policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
