Lone Star College is seeking a Part-time CC Trainer to deliver hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, and fluid power disciplines for corporate clients. The role emphasizes practical instruction, assessment of learning outcomes, and ongoing collaboration with industry partners.

The position requires a high school diploma or higher and 3+ years of paid industry experience, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Travel to client sites and campus locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or higher and 3+ years of paid work experience in industry as an electrical/electronics and/or mechanical maintenance or fluid systems specialist.
• Experience adapting training techniques for technical and non-technical learners.
• Ability to deliver training to meet course objectives and support learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fluid Power programs using related materials.
• Review course content and objectives to ensure alignment with learner needs.
• Conduct training sessions and provide feedback to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Collaborate with Corporate College to improve instructional quality using innovative methodologies.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate results in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
