Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Meat Department Associate in Washington, DC. The role involves processing, packaging, and stocking meat products per Meat Standards, maintaining clean work areas, and delivering customer service by unloading stock and reloading salvage.

When needed, you will perform seafood clerk duties as well. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and 18+ years of age, with English literacy and willingness to train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to read/write English; able to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Provide customer service; unload stock and reload salvage.
• Perform duties of seafood clerk when assigned.
