Job summary

Harris Teeter in Alexandria, VA is seeking a part-time Seafood Clerk to process, package and stock seafood products per Seafood Standards, and to clean work areas while providing excellent customer service during unloading and restocking.

The role may also include meat clerk duties when assigned; requires reading and following English instructions, lifting up to 100 pounds, and completing required training, including food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Complete company training including food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a cold environment

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock seafood products according to Seafood Standards
• Clean work areas and unload/reload stock to maintain shelves
• Provide customer service and assist store team as needed
• Perform meat clerk duties when assigned
