Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Meat/Seafood Clerk to process, package and stock meat products according to Meat Standards. The role includes maintaining clean work areas and assisting with unloading stock and reloading salvage, along with providing excellent customer service.

When needed, duties of the seafood clerk may be performed to support store operations. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and able to read, write and communicate in English; training will be provided for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Process, package and stock meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Clean work areas and assist in unloading stock and reloading salvage.
• Provide customer service and assist with seafood clerk duties when assigned.
