Job summary

You will rehearse meals from caterers, maintain site cleanliness, enroll participants, manage reservations, and assist with inventory and ordering. Shift requires patient interaction and teamwork with staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience with food safety guidelines and proper reheating procedures.
• Ability to enroll participants and maintain meal-site records.
• Willingness to interact warmly with participants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve lunch to meal site participants and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of meal site.
• Enroll meal site participants in program and record enrollments.
• Follow all health and food safety guidelines.
• Check emails daily on meal site tablet.
• Enter clock in/out times each working day.
• Maintain weekly meal reservation records for orders.
• Take inventory and place supply orders as needed.
• Receive meals and counts from caterers and verify orders.
• Complete daily scans to track participants.
• Present nutrition education to participants monthly.
• Attend mandatory bi-annual meetings.
• Collect and count contributions with staff where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Oversee volunteers, train them, and address issues.
