The ideal candidate is an LPN in good standing with MDS/RAI experience, RAC-CT or LPNAC certification a plus, and a strong attention to detail. This is a true part‑time day shift on the Pittsburgh campus with collaborative leadership

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Experience with MDS/RAI processes in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Certification RAC-CT or LPNAC is a strong plus; clinical coding excellence valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee timely completion of MDS assessments (OBRA and PPS) from admission to discharge with 100% accuracy.
• Collaborate with IDT to build person-centered care plans reflecting resident needs.
• Review documentation to ensure accurate resource utilization for reimbursement.
• Audit medical records and provide feedback to staff on documentation quality.
• Assist in electronic transmission of MDS data to CMS and implement corrections as needed.
