Job summary

Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove is seeking a dedicated Lead Instructor to deliver Mathnasium Method instruction to K-12 students in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery. You will lead sessions, monitor progress, and partner with parents to support student growth.

The role emphasizes strong math skills through Algebra I, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a passion for teaching, with consistent, part-time hours after school and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and helping students succeed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for student and parent communication.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.
• Strong math competency through Algebra I or higher.
• Ability to balance leadership with instructional duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team to deliver instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
