Akumin’s Hollywood, FL facility seeks a Mammography Technologist for a PRN/part-time role. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, ensuring high-quality images while complying with MQSA and ACR guidelines. The position emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and effective use of EMR/PACS/DICOM systems.

Required are ARRT(M) certification and state license, MQSA readiness within 30 days, BLS, and strong customer service skills. Preferred: Associate’s degree.

• ARRT(M) certification and state license; MQSA compliance required.
• BLS certification required.
• Meet MQSA training requirements within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established protocols.
• Position patients accurately and operate mammography equipment safely.
• Verify patient identity and explain the procedure.
• Maintain MQSA, ACR, and radiation safety standards.
• Assist with MQSA inspections and regulatory audits.
• Train and orient new technologists on site.
• Support infection control practices and a clean workspace.
• Ensure timely image sharing via EMR, PACS, DICOM.
