Akumin Pembroke Pines is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role in Florida. The position involves performing mammogram exams, collecting patient history, and supporting imaging across modalities. MQSA standards and MFSA compliance are required, with ARRT(M) or state alternatives acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• State-approved Mammography Program; ARRT(M) certification or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification; MQSA compliance.
• Strong customer service, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Valid state driver’s license, if applicable.
• Completion of accredited Mammography program acceptable in lieu of ARRT(M).

Responsibilities

• Performs mammogram exams on patients.
• Obtains patient history, prior films/reports, and supporting information.
• Performs QC as required by FDA/ACR guidelines.
• Provides imaging support to other modalities (x-ray, bone density).
• Maintains records and follows mammogram letter workflows.
