Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II to respond to service requests, prep apartments for turnover, and maintain property with a strong focus on customer service. The role involves interior, exterior and grounds work, and requires independent handling of a variety of tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or 3 years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of advanced hands-on repair experience in two or more building trades.
• REAC/HQS experience preferred; industry trade certifications (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting and basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly as directed by the Community Manager or Service Manager.
• Complete or monitor preventive maintenance tasks for building systems, equipment and components.
