The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II to promptly respond to service requests, perform various building trades repairs, and maintain both interior and exterior property areas. The role demands customer-focused service and collaboration with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include appliance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs; preventive maintenance; and preparing vacancies for new residents, with on-call and weekend duties as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of advanced hands-on repair experience in two or more building trades.
• REAC/HQS experience preferred.
• Industry-Trade certifications/degrees (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, ETC) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and perform repairs for appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Complete or monitor vendor preventive maintenance tasks for building systems and components.
• Prepare and repair vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain grounds and common spaces including cleaning, trash, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Prepare and repair for REAC/HQS inspections and audits.
• Maintain maintenance shop and inventory with a safety mindset and PPE.
• Weekend work, on-call rotation and emergency service duties.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with providing technical guidance to Maintenance Tech I.
