Urban Self Storage in Yakima, WA is seeking a dedicated Part-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The role offers roughly 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, performing routine upkeep at a single self-storage facility.

You will repair and maintain storage units, buildings, and equipment, respond to maintenance requests, keep detailed records, and report progress to the Store Manager. A background in maintenance and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance work.
• Regular use of power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills and mobile apps.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks at one facility in Yakima.
• Repair and upkeep of storage units, buildings & equipment.
• Ensure the property is clean, safe & well-maintained.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests & emergencies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Report daily to Store Manager with progress & pending tasks.
