Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Wrentham is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout our community to keep it safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and staff.

This part-time role covers weekdays and weekends with hands-on work in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep. You will report to the supervisor and coordinate with outside contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance preferred
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting knowledge

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community
• Assist with preventive maintenance for building systems and equipment
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work
• Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and determine appropriate next steps
• Inspect resident apartments, common areas, equipment, and building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas
• Follow safety procedures and properly handle maintenance materials
