• Ability to work independently and with other team members.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
• Ability to communicate well with people.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must have own tools.
• Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical
• Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule
• Demonstrates superior customer service
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed
• Loading and unloading building materials and tools
• Being compliant with all health and safety regulations
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls, and perform necessary repairs
• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $20 to $32 per hour and provides an opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall quality of our properties.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner. Working alongside a collaborative and supportive team, you will perform a variety of tasks, including plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, general maintenance, and property upkeep.
