Job summary

Storage Asset Management in Rockingham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks at assigned storage facilities, including cleaning, basic repairs, lawn care, snow removal, and refurbishing vacated units to ensure quick turnover. Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining property appearance, and assisting with other onsite tasks.

A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between locations are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance/mechanical field with high school education desired.
• Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine daily visual inspections of facilities.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Maintain property appearance, including lawn care, snow removal, landscaping, cleaning.
• Clean or refurbish vacated self-storage units to ensure quick turnaround.
• Perform general repairs of locks, doors, latches, etc.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between locations and purchase supplies as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Walking, Standing, Talking in person, Talking on phone, Hearing on phone, Vision for close work, Driving, Color/depth perception, Repetitive motion, Keyboarding, Using hands to feel/hold, Lifting up to 25 lbs, Reaching, Climbing.

This position will be responsible for all maintenance related tasks (cleaning, building repair, etc.) at storage facility locations assigned. Maintenance technicians repair and maintain self-storage buildings, keep grounds looking professional as well as assisting with other onsite tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions of the Role
