Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a Maintenance role to handle upkeep across multiple storage facilities. You will perform daily inspections, complete work orders, and maintain property exterior and interior cleanliness to ensure quick turnover of units.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and willingness to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Track record of success in sales and marketing is a plus.
• Proven experience in management, leasing, retail, or operations.
• Full availability, including weekends.
• Willingness to complete light maintenance and property upkeep.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine (daily) visual inspections.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Maintain property appearance including lawn care and landscaping.
• Clean or refurbish vacated self-storage units for quick turnover.
• Assist with general repairs of locks, doors, latches, etc.
• Travel between locations as needed.

This position will be responsible for all maintenance related tasks (cleaning, building repair, etc.) at storage facility locations assigned. Maintenance technicians repair and maintain self-storage buildings, keep grounds looking professional as well as assisting with other onsite tasks as assigned.

• Maintain physical property appearance, i.e., lawn care, snow removal, landscaping, mopping, changing light bulbs, trash removal, etc.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between locations and purchase supplies as needed.
