Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Salt Lake City is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our community’s facilities safe and welcoming. You will perform general maintenance, respond to work orders, and prepare apartments for new residents under the supervision of the Maintenance Director.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of mechanical/repair experience and a high school diploma or GED. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and allows for about 20 hours of work per week at $19

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of mechanical, troubleshooting, and repair experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare, hospital, or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, painting) to keep the community safe and functional.
• Respond promptly to daily work orders and maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents with cosmetic and repair work.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Maintain organized, hazard-free work and storage areas.
• Serve as on-call contact for after-hours emergencies as directed.
