Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Worker for a 55+ manufactured home community in Federal Way, WA. This part-time role runs year round for 20 hours per week, with shifting schedules in the summer pool season.

You will perform maintenance tasks, test pool/spa chemistry, and assist residents while using a computer for timekeeping and mandatory safety trainings. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Pool/spa knowledge or ability to obtain CPO certificate.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings and communicate vendor appointments.
• Coordinate with management on maintenance projects.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; clean restrooms and main areas as needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Move heavy objects; drive maintenance truck or golf cart.
• Monitor inventory and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
