Fastenal’s distribution center in Jessup, PA is hiring Part-Time Custodian to maintain cleanliness, perform minor repairs, and assist with painting and maintenance. The role requires physical work, adherence to health and safety standards, and flexibility for a schedule up to 28 hours per week.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Responsabilités

• Vacuuming, mopping, and other bathroom services
• Performing minor repairs and painting at our facility
• Disinfecting commonly touched surfaces like door handles, drinking fountains, counters and tables
• Maintaining inventory supplies for cleaning and ordering products as needed
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-Time Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing minor repairs, painting and other routine maintenance duties.
