Sprung Services, Inc. in Burnsville, MN is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician with a Minnesota 2B Boiler License to support our 24/7 facility operations on weekends.

The role offers flexible weekend day shifts (4–8 per month) with 12-hour shifts preferred. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of related maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong electro-mechanical skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and PLC-driven systems.

Qualifications

• Minnesota 2B Boiler License or higher is required.
• 10+ years of related maintenance experience or equivalent training in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electro-mechanical background, including couplings, shaft alignment, bearings, gears, and lubrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical documents, drawings, and schematics.
• Working knowledge of digital electronics, AC/DC motors, servo motors, and drives.
• Experience with PLCs and automated processing systems, including troubleshooting and edits.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Quality & Food Safety: follow safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor high-pressure boiler operation for safe production.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance across facility equipment for reliability.
• Complete scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance with limited supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping diagrams.
• Repair equipment including motors, pumps, gears, and piping components.
• Install and repair electrical/electronic components in machinery and equipment.
