Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred
• HVAC experience
• Maintenance experience
• Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work to enhance service levels while controlling budgets and staffing.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and record-keeping to keep the center in top condition.
• Maintains center profile and plant history with complete documentation of maintenance activities and replacement parts.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair work in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and building codes.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental services requests and infection prevention.
• Provides timely follow-up to requesting departments and communicates best practices with management.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
