Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County is seeking a part-time Maintenance Support Specialist to care for club facilities, grounds, and equipment. The role collaborates with the Facilities, Maintenance, and Transportation Manager and may assist with special projects and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property maintenance.
• Ability to use electronic communication, including email and Microsoft Teams.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Experience working in the presence of children and basic knowledge of youth development.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment across Boys & Girls Clubs locations.
• Assist with special projects and support for events under the Facilities, Maintenance, and Transportation Manager.
• Coordinate routine preventative maintenance and improve efficiencies in facility resources.
• Assist with annual municipal/state inspections to ensure code compliance.
• Provide minor repairs (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, landscaping) and backup for contracted janitorial services when needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and facility assets; escort service providers as required.
