Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage day-to-day maintenance of the John Geigle North Pinellas Branch. You will repair, inspect, and maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment to keep them safe and welcoming.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with branch leadership. Competitive part-time schedule and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, handyman work, or related field.
• Experience with common hand and power tools; knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CPO certification preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete day-to-day maintenance needs of the branch.
• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Paint, pressure wash, grounds maintenance, and minor plumbing/electrical/carpentry repairs.
• Inspect facility and equipment and complete safety inspections and checklists.
