Job summary

Our House Assisted Living is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position works alongside our full-time Maintenance Director to help keep our community safe, clean, and comfortable for our residents.

This role is Part-Time (25 hours per week) with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour, higher depending on experience. You will assist with general building maintenance, routine upkeep, painting and minor repairs, while ensuring the facility

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Help with painting, drywall repair, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Complete work orders promptly
• Maintain the grounds, including seasonal outdoor upkeep
• Move furniture and equipment as needed

• Assist with emergency maintenance needs when necessary
