Qualifications

• Experience in safe and effective use and maintenance of 3D printers, hand tools, light-duty CNC routers, and manual machines.
• Comfort in a shop environment and willingness to investigate and solve problems.
• Basic CAD/CAM software familiarity.
• Experience working with diverse, student-focused teams.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and mentor students in proper use of 3D printers, CNC and manual machines and soldering tools.
• Maintain working areas, machinery, and safety conditions to standards.
• Foster a professional, safe, welcoming MEZ workshop culture.
• Collaborate to train new team members and develop MEZ work practices.
• Coordinate supplies, inventory, and disposal of shop materials.
