Job summary
North Pointe Care Center is seeking a licensed LVN for part-time/on-call shifts to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The role includes charting, medication administration, and coordinating with physicians and other staff to ensure quality care.
The LVN must hold a valid LVN license, be able to work community shifts, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Must possess LVN/LPN license in the applicable state.
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate shift activities.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care regulations and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Supervise day-to-day nursing duties of nursing assistants.
- Complete and file required medical records and discharge plans.
- Administer medications as ordered and ensure accuracy of medication administration.
- Maintain accurate census, reports, and communications with medical staff.
