Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per resident care plans and clinical standards.
• Supervise CNAs during shift.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Document nursing notes, physician orders, treatments, and resident status.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions and notify supervisors and physicians.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance efforts and facility surveys.
• Maintain a professional, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
