Job summary

Tulsa Tech’s Health Science Center seeks a part-time Instructor for Long Term Care/Nurse Aide (CNA). A minimum of two years nursing experience is required, with one year in long-term care preferred.

An active Oklahoma RN or LPN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program are essential. Instructors will teach with competency-based curricula, maintain records, and ensure current syllabi and lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Must hold current RN or LPN license to practice in Oklahoma and graduate of an accredited RN/LPN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in the subject matter.
• Instruct students using competency-based curricula with current instructional strategies.
• Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain attendance, academic progress, and grades per district policy.
• Ensure syllabus, supply list, and lesson plans are current before each class.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliable conduct.
• Align with Tulsa Tech's ACD program mission and goals.
• Participate in professional development as required by ACD.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
