Job summary

Tulsa Tech is seeking an Instructor Non-Certified for a 12-month term in Health Science Center. Educate and train students to gain skills and prepare for entry into workplace or higher education, aligning with district core values.

Responsibilities include managing classrooms, planning instructional materials, counseling students, and maintaining records. Requires RN licensure in OK and two years of recent RN experience; Masters preferred. Closing date Oct 14, 2026.

Qualifications

• Two years' RN experience within the last five years.
• Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing license.
• Verification of vaccination requirements per CDC guidelines for healthcare providers.
• Current Basic Life Support CPR for healthcare providers.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Plan and organize instructional materials and update lesson plans for competency-based curriculum.
• Evaluate students on a recurrent basis to track progress toward competencies.
• Provide academic, personal and behavioral counseling to students.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance and grades.
• Develop and maintain community and industry contacts to align curriculum with job market needs.
• Participate in campus projects and professional development activities.
• Maintain professional expertise in educational methodology and industry topics.

Associate Degree in Nursing

Progress toward Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Masters Degree in Nursing preferred
