Job summary

Tulsa Tech seeks an Instructor, Practical Nursing to educate and train students, guiding them through competency-based classroom, lab and clinical activities aligning with industry standards and program goals.

Requirements include an Oklahoma RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing with ongoing progress toward a BSN, and current BLS/CPR; two years’ nursing experience within the last five years; valid driver's license; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years’ RN experience within the last five years.
• Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS CPR for healthcare providers.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Plan and organize instructional materials and updates to lesson plans.
• Evaluate students on a recurrent basis for progress toward competencies.
• Provide counseling and collaborate on interventions to support retention.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress and grades per policy.
