Job summary

Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation in Newport News, VA is seeking a part-time LPN Nurse Supervisor. You will report to the Director of Nursing and supervise nursing services on one or more units to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will assign duties, coordinate staffing with the DON/Nurse Manager, provide direct nursing care, respond to emergencies, contribute to care plans, document changes, and support staff onboarding and supervision while protecting resident privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• LPN license in Virginia required.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to staff to assure quality resident care.
• Works with DON/Nurse Manager to manage staffing for shifts.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents.
• Directs and assists in emergent or code situations.
• Contributes to development and modification of care plans.
• Onboarding, orientation, staffing and supervision of nursing staff.
