Job summary

Riverside's Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Warwick Forest in Newport News, Virginia, is hiring an RN Nurse Supervisor for full-time and part-time shifts. You will oversee nursing services on one or more units, assess and plan resident care, and coordinate with families and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will assign duties, monitor labor within budget, onboard staff, and develop care plans with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred with leadership skills.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred as part of nursing leadership.
• Virginia RN license required or must be obtained upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance to assure quality resident care.
• Manages labor expenses with DON/Nurse Manager to keep within budget.
• Onboards, orients and supervises nursing staff to ensure safe work practices.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care; communicates plan to providers, residents, families and staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Charge Nurse (Preferred)

RN License in Virginia (Required)

CPR/BLS Certification (Required)
