Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation in Newport News, VA is seeking a part-time LPN Nurse Supervisor. You will report to the Director of Nursing and supervise nursing services on one or more units to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will assign duties, coordinate staffing with the DON/Nurse Manager, provide direct nursing care, respond to emergencies, contribute to care plans, document changes, and support staff onboarding and supervision while protecting resident privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• LPN license in Virginia required.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days.

Supervises and directs nursing services on one or more units in a facility. Evaluates, plans, implements, and executes resident care and directs all activities in order to provide quality service. Maintains close contact with residents, families and staff while coordinating nursing services with all other disciplines. **What you will do** * Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.* Works with DON/Nurse Manager to manage staffing for assigned shifts.* Provides direct nursing care to residents.
