Job summary

MediLodge of GTC in Traverse City, MI seeks a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care and supervise clinical staff. This role emphasizes accurate order implementation, medication administration, and coordination with therapy and other departments.

Flexible scheduling and incentive pay support your work-life balance. The ideal candidate holds a valid LPN/LVN license for Michigan, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with residents’ needs and capabilities.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and performs treatments, documenting per rules.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
• Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
