Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving/shipping/logistics preferred.
• Valid Michigan driver's license per SVSU policy.
• Ability to use computerized record keeping and inventory systems.
• Forklift operation training within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with USPS/ carrier rules and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and lift/move heavy items.

Mansioni

• Unload, receive and deliver incoming shipments and inspect for damages.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders for discrepancies.
• Maintain records and process receipts in Workday; support three-way match.
• Track shipments with barcode scanning and package tracking systems.
• Prioritize expedited deliveries and obtain signatures as needed.
• Provide high level customer service to the university community.
• Prepare outbound shipments and needed documentation.
• Monitor inventory and assist with replenishment at Central Stores.
• Generate operational reports for Logistics Manager and admin.
• Train student employees and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Assist with mail operations, graphics center, or surplus property.
