Job summary

PeopleShare is recruiting a Part-Time Payment Processing Clerk for Center City Philadelphia, on-site. The role offers a contract-to-hire path and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM schedule.

You will process payments, operate mailroom and remittance equipment, and help secure funds in the processing area while maintaining batch accuracy and following policies. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in payment processing or data entry is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming payments and remittance documents accurately.
• Operate department equipment including mail-opening processors, remittance processing equipment, image scanners, and PCs.
• Ensure payments are secured within the designated processing area.
• Maintain accuracy throughout batch control and payment processing procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Support overall payment processing operations and meet daily production goals.
