Job summary

The Harbor Bank of Maryland is seeking a part-time Loan Operations Administrator in Baltimore to handle loan processing, servicing, and escrow activities, boarding new loans and maintaining existing ones, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will manage payments, escrow disbursements, reconcile ledgers, support audits, and interact with customers and insurance agencies, requiring attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements governing servicing and monitoring of various loans.

Responsibilities

• Review system reports to validate loan records and adjust related accounts.
• Perform settlement and reconciliation of loan-related ledgers and escrow accounts.
• Read loan documents to validate accuracy before boarding loans onto core system.
• Maintain loan data accuracy during renewals, extensions, or modifications.
• Process loan payments, advances, payoffs and related transactions.
• Process escrow transactions and maintain related records in core system.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan balances, payments, and escrow disbursements.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews with data and loan files.
• Coordinate renewals with insurance agencies and manage forced-place insurance.
