Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Event Assistant for CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ. This part-time role supports events with scheduling, setup, guest services, and staff coordination. Availability evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or live events is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling part-time staff and game day staffing sheets.
• Work during events to coordinate tasks and support staff.
• Set up the employee entrance and sign in/out procedures.
• Help Guest Services with guest questions.
• Distribute uniforms and equipment to staff.
• Assist with event one-sheets, staff deployment sheets, and data sheets.
• Assist with the arena lost & found program.
• Complete pre-event building inspection walks.
• Participate in weekly department meetings.
• Coordinate VIP activations and sponsorship activations.
• Maintain organized files and staff logs.
• Other tasks as assigned.
