Job summary

Nebo School District in Utah County is seeking a Literacy Instructional Technician to support classroom teachers. The role is 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, 177 days per year, with lane 1 compensation of $17.35 per hour.

The position involves administering assessments, providing direct instructional services to students, and assisting in remediation of reading, language, and math skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Administers tests for the purpose of assisting the teacher in evaluating students' progress.
• Provides direct instructional services to individuals and/or small groups of students under the supervision of the assigned classroom teacher.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans to improve students' academic success.
• Monitors individuals and/or groups of students to provide a safe learning environment.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support the work unit.
