Job summary

Nebo School District in Utah County is seeking an Instructional Technician – Lane 1. The role supports teachers by administering tests, assisting with classroom tasks, and providing direct instructional services to students under supervision.

The position is 5.25 hours per day, 5 days a week, 177 days a year, with a starting wage of $17.35 per hour. Requires a high school diploma; background check is required; placement on salary schedule will be reviewed.

Qualifications

• Skills: adhere to safety practices, operate standard office equipment including computers and software, and maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge: basic math with fractions, percents, and/or ratios; grammar and punctuation; health and safety standards.
• Ability: schedule activities; collate data; work with others; handle interruptions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administers tests for the purpose of assisting the teacher in evaluating students' progress.
• Administers student evaluation and progress assessments for teachers to determine needs for remediation.
• Confers with teachers to assist in evaluating student progress and implementing objectives.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans to support classroom objectives.
• Provides direct instructional services to individuals and/or small groups under teacher supervision.
