Liscio’s Italian Bakery, Inc. is seeking a part-time Line Cook at our Glassboro location. The role focuses on preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping a clean, organized kitchen to support a fast-paced operation.

The ideal candidate has basic food prep experience, a strong work ethic, and reliability. Weekend and holiday availability is required; ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation or line cook experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are met at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
• Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Follow all safety and company policies, including proper use of kitchen equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
