Job summary

DARTCOR HOSPITALITY is seeking a part-time Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes while ensuring quality and presentation standards. You will be part of a fast-paced kitchen team with weekday daytime shifts (Tuesday–Thursday).

Ideal candidates have proven line cook experience, strong knowledge of cooking techniques, and a commitment to clean and organized workspaces. ServSafe is a plus but not required, with competitive hourly pay and a supportive dining

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and quality.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Follow recipes, instructions, and kitchen protocols consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and guidelines.
• Set up and stock cooking stations before and during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas per health regulations.
• Follow portion controls and minimize food waste.
• Plate dishes attractively and ensure consistent presentation.
• Assist with inventory management and notify when supplies are low.
