Job summary

Legends Alamodome is seeking a Cook to support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality meals for events in San Antonio. You will assist with food prep, timing, and presentation while maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Qualified candidates may have a high school diploma, a food handlers permit, and basic cooking skills. The role requires ability to stand for long periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events demand.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food ingredients and preparation.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and recipes.
• Food handlers permit required per health regulations; Serv Safe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef to maintain high food quality and timing.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, portioning).
• Help with day-to-day kitchen operations and cleanliness.
• Review recipes and assemble ingredients for meals.
• Maintain proper storage with receive dates and safe handling of foods.
