Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate activities of food preparation and purchases.
• Follow recipes and portion controls to meet standards.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment safety.
• Oversee line cooks and monitor appearance and taste of dishes.
• Manage inventory, storage and distribution of food and supplies.
• Assist with purchases and pricing under supervisor guidance.
• Track food waste and manage surpluses and leftovers.
